Youth Client Services Opportunity – YES Programme

About the role

The YES Programme offers young South Africans living with disabilities a full‑time, 12‑month placement in the Client Services Department of Bestmed Medical Scheme. You will receive comprehensive training on the scheme’s products and services and will engage with members over the phone, gaining practical experience in the medical‑aid industry.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound member enquiries and provide accurate information about medical‑aid products.
• Record interactions in the company’s CRM system following established protocols.
• Escalate complex issues to senior advisors while maintaining a professional tone.
• Participate in regular training sessions and performance feedback meetings.
• Contribute to a supportive team environment by sharing insights and best practices.

Required profile

• Matric certificate; tertiary education is an advantage.
• South African citizen, 35 years or younger.
• Not currently employed and available for the full programme period (1 Nov 2026 – 31 Oct 2027).
• Living with a disability (preference given).
