Web3 Accountant

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and oversee day‑to‑day accounting activities.
• Process financial transactions, journals, accruals and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management.
• Monitor and reconcile bank accounts and digital‑asset transactions.
• Support month‑end and year‑end reporting and external audit requirements.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely financial information.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and controls.

Required profile

• BCom Accounting with Honours or equivalent qualification.
• Newly qualified CA(SA) or accountant with solid accounting experience.
• Exposure to crypto, digital assets or Web3 environments.
• Experience performing a full accounting function and preparing management reports.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with accounting systems.
• Strong reconciliation and analytical abilities.
• Knowledge of crypto and digital‑asset accounting.
