Software Engineer – RegTech Platform

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our RegTech team and help evolve the Finsurv TXstreamm Submission platform. You will work on both backend services and front‑end interfaces, turning regulatory requirements into reliable software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain features across backend services, rule engines, and UI components.
• Translate regulatory rules into rule‑driven validations, smart forms, submission workflows, and reporting logic.
• Support related products such as Finsurv Central Hub, Licensing Dashboards, and Modernised Product Interfaces.
• Collaborate with domain experts to implement Balance of Payments (BoP) reporting and other financial regulatory processes.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, backlog refinement, code reviews, and technical discussions.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and resolve production incidents.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of software engineering experience on a product team.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience working in an Agile, cross‑functional environment.

Required skills

• Java (or other object‑oriented language).
• Angular or Vue.js, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• SQL and relational database experience.
• REST APIs, JSON, XML integration.
• Understanding of backend and frontend enterprise application development.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or similar) and web development frameworks.
