Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

The Senior Internal Auditor leads audit engagements from planning through sign‑off, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, profitably, and in line with the Firm's policies, IIA Standards, and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise internal audit projects, manage timelines, budgets and stakeholder communication.
• Develop audit plans, risk & control matrices, and audit work programmes.
• Execute audit procedures, select samples, and document findings with root‑cause analysis and recommendations.
• Review and coach junior auditors, conduct performance appraisals and staff development activities.
• Prepare draft ARC/management reports and liaise with clients on audit outcomes.
• Maintain daily timesheets, monitor WIP, and ensure compliance with internal quality standards.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in internal audit, preferably within a professional services environment.
• Strong knowledge of IIA Standards and audit methodology.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage client relationships and deliver high‑quality audit deliverables.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, with a focus on coaching and staff development.
