Senior Financial Accountant – Gauteng, South Africa

About the role

Otis Group is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to support its financial operations across Southern Africa from its Gauteng office. The role focuses on ensuring accurate reporting, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement of financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations and maintain General Ledger integrity across the region.
• Prepare, review and analyse financial statements and reports to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end closing activities, meeting all deadlines.
• Support internal and external audits and implement recommendations.
• Maintain strong internal controls and safeguard company assets.
• Coordinate with tax authorities and auditors for tax submissions, VAT and PAYE compliance.
• Identify and implement process automation and operational efficiency opportunities.

• Strong analytical and financial reporting capabilities.
