Sales Development Representative - B2B

About the role

Huzzle connects talent with leading companies across the UK, US, Canada, Europe and Australia, including startups and established businesses in SaaS, MarTech, FinTech and EdTech. You will be placed directly with a client as a core member of their team, not outsourced. This is a full-time, independent contractor role as a high-volume, high-impact B2B Sales Development Representative, focused on cold calling and setting meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Run high-volume outbound prospecting campaigns, making 80 to 100 cold calls per day
• Research and identify key decision-makers in target accounts to build a strong sales pipeline
• Qualify leads through discovery so they match the core solutions
• Overcome gatekeepers and navigate complex B2B structures to book meetings for Account Executives
• Track all activity and lead status in the CRM to keep data accurate and handoffs smooth

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience as a B2B SDR or BDR
• Proven track record handling 80-100 cold calls per day
• Strong verbal and written communication and quick rapport-building
• Resilient "hunter" mindset and strong organisation skills for a fast pace

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with sales tech stacks such as Salesforce, Outreach, Salesloft or ZoomInfo
• Prior experience in SaaS or specialised B2B sectors
• History of exceeding meeting-set quotas
