Internal Recruiter / Talent Consultant (Johannesburg)

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing multinational listed on the JSE, is looking for an ambitious Internal Recruiter / Talent Consultant to join their high‑performance team in Johannesburg. The role is ideal for a commercially minded recruiter who thrives in a fast‑paced, people‑focused environment and enjoys engaging with senior professionals across finance, engineering, legal and consulting fields.

Key responsibilities

• Source, attract and engage high‑calibre professionals for specialist and leadership positions.
• Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for roles such as Chartered Accountants, Engineers, Lawyers and senior consultants.
• Conduct interviews, assess technical and cultural fit, and manage the full recruitment cycle to offer stage.
• Partner closely with hiring managers and leadership teams to understand hiring needs.
• Represent the company brand professionally and support employer‑branding initiatives.

Required profile

• Previous experience in recruitment, talent acquisition or headhunting (preferred).
• Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
• Commercially minded, highly organized, proactive and energetic.
• Academic achievements and evidence of entrepreneurial initiatives are advantageous.
• Willingness to work primarily office‑based in Johannesburg.
