Incident Management Engineer (Bilingual Spanish/English)

About the role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a bilingual Incident Management Engineer to join the Incident Detection and Response team. You will work 24x7 with enterprise customers, providing rapid incident response, communication, and technical coordination to minimise downtime of critical workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor onboarded workloads around the clock and engage customers within five minutes of a critical alarm.
• Develop and maintain custom runbooks and response plans for each workload.
• Lead incident communication, emergency response, and technical resolver engagement.
• Drive incident resolution, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and ensure timely recovery.
• Provide strategic account ownership and act as the primary point of contact for critical incidents.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
• Self‑starter with the ability to operate tactically and strategically.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a passion for delivering world‑class service.
• Ability to work in a global, follow‑the‑sun environment, including weekends and public holidays.
