About the role
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our laboratory team in Bethal, Mpumalanga. The role involves hands‑on analytical work supporting ongoing projects and product development.
Key responsibilities
- Perform laboratory work including titrations, density and viscosity measurements, and in‑house developed tests.
- Develop and maintain documentation for formulations and projects.
- Prepare samples for stability, efficacy or safety testing.
- Assist with non‑conformance investigations as required.
- Maintain and repair laboratory equipment.
- Carry out ad‑hoc tasks assigned by supervisors.
Required profile
- Completed the theoretical part of a tertiary programme in Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry (University of Technology).
- Demonstrated ability to take responsibility for work, document and report results.
- Commitment to laboratory safety for self and others.
Required skills
- Proficiency with titration techniques and pH measurement.
- Ability to perform density and viscosity measurements.
- Experience with calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Strong grasp of percentages, fractions, dilutions and related calculations.
