Human Resources Executive

About the role

The Human Resources Executive will lead the HR function for our Groblersdal operations, aligning people strategies with business objectives and fostering an inclusive, high‑performance culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies that support company goals and manage the HR department.
• Oversee full‑cycle recruitment, onboarding, performance appraisal, and career development.
• Ensure compliance with local labour legislation, manage disciplinary processes, and promote a positive workplace culture.
• Improve HR systems, processes, and digital tools to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
• Provide HR insights and coaching to senior leadership.
• Lead OHS and Food Safety accreditations, including BRC and SIZA.
• Manage payroll end‑to‑end using Sage People.
• Compile HR statistics and present them to the Executive Committee monthly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent.
• 8‑10 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of South African labour laws and regulations.
• Experience in organisational development, change management, and payroll administration.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and conflict‑resolution abilities.

Required skills

• Sage People (HRIS)
• Knowledge of BRC and SIZA accreditation standards
