HR Officer – Cape Town Contact Centre

About the role

As an HR Officer at our Cape Town site, you will be a key operational partner in a high‑volume contact centre environment. You will ensure HR policies are applied consistently, employee relations are managed fairly, and statutory and Employment Equity obligations are met.

Key responsibilities

• Implement HR policies and processes across the centre.
• Handle employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence cases.
• Provide day‑to‑day guidance throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Support industrial relations activities and contribute to workforce planning and engagement initiatives.
• Act as a trusted advisor to employees and operational leaders.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Officer or similar role in a fast‑paced contact centre or BPO.
• Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation and Employment Equity requirements.
• Confidence managing disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence cases with professionalism and discretion.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
