About the role
This position supports the People Manager and senior leadership of a luxury game lodge in Kruger National Park. The HR Administrator & Recruiter will ensure smooth HR operations, from payroll to recruitment, while fostering a positive employee experience in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide full HR administrative support, including payroll processing, data capture and reporting.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding and the entire employee lifecycle.
- Support training, development and employee wellness initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with South African labour legislation and internal HR policies.
- Manage staff administration such as housing, uniforms and equipment allocation.
- Handle employee relations matters with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Maintain accurate HR records and update HR systems (MS Office and payroll software).
- Work independently while collaborating with the broader management team.
Required profile
- People‑focused individual with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with employees at all levels and maintain confidentiality.
- Thrives in a dynamic, fast‑paced hospitality setting.
- Prior HR experience, preferably within the hospitality sector.
Required skills
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Experience with payroll systems.
