HR Business Partner

About the role

The HR Business Partner will act as a strategic liaison between operations managers and the HR function, ensuring that people initiatives align with business goals across retail, iBranch and non‑gambling divisions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with operation managers to identify HR solutions that support business initiatives.
• Manage national HR consultants and ensure consistent implementation of recruitment, onboarding, and employee orientation processes.
• Oversee performance management, talent management, succession planning and individual development plans.
• Monitor HR metrics, employee turnover, exit trends and provide actionable insights.
• Design and implement workforce retention programmes, internship appointments and recognition schemes.
• Ensure compliance with employment equity, risk management, pre‑employment checks, criminal and polygraph testing.
• Maintain and update company policies, long‑service processes and wellness initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience partnering with senior operational leaders in a multi‑division environment.
• Strong understanding of recruitment, onboarding, performance appraisal and talent management best practices.
• Ability to analyse HR data and translate metrics into business‑focused recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
