High School English Educator (Talent Pool)

About the role

SPARK Schools is seeking dynamic English Home Language educators for its high school senior phase. The role involves delivering blended learning – both face‑to‑face and online – and contributing to an inquiry‑based curriculum that prepares scholars for matriculation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, teach, and co‑teach classroom and distance lessons for English Home Language.
• Collaborate with grade‑level and content partners to design rigorous, engaging learning experiences.
• Develop and administer formative and termly assessments, track student progress and analyse data.
• Create and implement individualized behaviour and learning plans for scholars.
• Lead social and emotional development sessions through the Character Quotient (CQ) programme.
• Design and monitor support programmes for low‑performing scholars.
• Participate actively in scheduled professional development sessions.

• Strong content expertise in English language and literacy.
• Commitment to high expectations for classroom culture, behaviour and academic growth.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a blended‑learning environment.
• Experience with inquiry‑based and integrated curriculum delivery.
• Dedication to rigorous, engaging learning experiences for all scholars.
