Head of Total Rewards (MEA)

About the role

The Head of Total Rewards MEA will lead the design, implementation and management of compensation, benefits and recognition programs across the region. Reporting to senior leadership, this role ensures that reward strategies attract, retain and motivate top talent while aligning with business objectives and market benchmarks.

Key responsibilities

• Lead global compensation processes including annual reviews, salary planning, incentive programs, benchmarking and job architecture.
• Support the localisation of a globally aligned compensation framework to ensure consistency, transparency and competitiveness.
• Partner with regional Total Rewards leaders and People & Culture Business Partners to balance global consistency with local market needs.
• Develop and implement global recognition programs that reinforce company values and employee engagement.
• Act as trusted advisor to business leaders on pay decisions, incentive design, job evaluations and market competitiveness.
• Ensure compliance with local legislation, regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.
• Drive operational excellence through automation, process simplification and robust governance frameworks.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in total rewards, compensation and benefits at a senior leadership level.
• Proven ability to develop and execute regional reward strategies in a multinational environment.
• Strong analytical and business‑partnering skills with a focus on data‑driven decision making.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and act as a trusted advisor.
