Full‑Stack Developer – Cape Town

About the role

Kopano Labs is seeking a motivated Developer to join its Cape Town studio. You will work on designing, building and maintaining scalable digital platforms that address South African market challenges. The role is full‑time and on‑site, collaborating closely with product managers and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high‑performance software solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and well‑documented code.
• Debug and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Contribute to system architecture and technical decision‑making.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and other engineers to deliver projects on schedule.

Required profile

• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript or similar programming languages.
• Strong background in software development, architecture design and testing methodologies.
• Experience with web development frameworks and front‑end/back‑end integration.
• Understanding of database systems and cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams and communicate technical concepts.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems.
