About the role
The Executive Assistant to the CEO and Head of Coverage will ensure seamless operation of senior leadership activities in South Africa. You will provide comprehensive administrative support, allowing the executive team to focus on strategic priorities while you manage day‑to‑day tasks, communications, and logistics in a fast‑paced banking environment.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, conferences, and video calls, handling all logistics.
- Draft, type, and manage correspondence on behalf of the CEO and leadership team.
- Handle inbound communications (mail, faxes, telephone) with timely, courteous responses.
- Maintain organized digital and manual filing systems for quick document retrieval.
- Plan and organise complex travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, visas, and itineraries.
- Process invoices and travel expenses accurately, ensuring timely submission.
- Assist with event management for client and internal functions.
- Support onboarding activities by managing resource requisition submissions.
- Uphold the highest standards of integrity and confidentiality in line with company policies.
Required profile
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, dynamic diary schedules with competing priorities.
- Strong written communication skills with attention to detail.
- Experience preparing meeting minutes, reports, and professional presentations.
- High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to work with agility in a dynamic environment.
