Contracts Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and suitably qualified Contracts Manager to join our client's team in Rustenburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for detailed costing and estimating, contracts management, and cost management within the steel fabrication and construction environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage contracts within the steel fabrication and construction environment.
• Perform detailed costing and estimating.
• Administer contracts effectively and in accordance with contractual requirements.
• Apply strong commercial, contractual, and cost‑management principles.
• Negotiate and manage contractual matters.
• Work with FIDIC and NEC3 contract frameworks.
• Support projects within the mining environment where applicable.
• Maintain a professional, analytical, and detail‑oriented approach to costing and contract management.

Required profile

• BSc in Construction Management preferred (alternatively Engineering Degree, Engineering Diploma, or BSc in Quantity Surveying); MBA or Law Degree advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Contracts Manager.
• Proven experience in detailed costing and estimating within steel fabrication and construction.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in contracts management.
• Experience with FIDIC and NEC3 contracts.
• Strong commercial, contractual, and cost‑management skills.
• Experience within the mining environment highly advantageous.
• Bilingual with good communication skills.
• Ability to pass an Occupational Medical Fitness Certificate and a clear criminal record.
