Consulting Manager - Healthcare

About the role

The Consulting Manager – Healthcare will lead a team of Healthcare Account Executives, Member Consultants and Administrators for a financial services provider in Menlyn, Pretoria. This senior position requires strategic leadership, client portfolio growth and deep knowledge of the insurance and medical sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and competitive positioning for the client portfolio.
• Drive organic growth, client retention and cross‑selling opportunities.
• Manage client relationships, healthcare consulting and benefit‑strategy projects.
• Oversee operational management, compliance, governance and continuous improvement.
• Lead talent development, succession planning and stakeholder management.
• Report on business performance, revenue and profitability growth.

Required profile

• Degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Management or related field (RE5 essential, FAIS recognised).
• Post‑graduate qualification such as MBA or MCom is highly advantageous.
• Minimum 10 years’ senior‑level experience in insurance and medical industries.
• Extensive leadership experience in healthcare services with strong commercial, financial and strategic acumen.
