About the role

Reddam House Bedfordview is seeking an enthusiastic College Business and Accountancy Teacher to join its vibrant secondary school community. The successful candidate will inspire a love for learning, deliver engaging commerce lessons, and contribute to the holistic development of students in a supportive, innovative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver dynamic Business and Accountancy lessons for secondary students.
• Create a nurturing classroom atmosphere that promotes active, engaged learning.
• Maintain professional standards regarding punctuality, conduct, homework supervision and assessment marking.
• Continuously evaluate and refine teaching practice through reflection and professional development.
• Teach extra‑curricular lessons on two afternoons per week as required.
• Develop high‑quality learning resources and respond to parent communications within 24 hours.
• Set, mark and comment on assessments, and produce comprehensive report comments.
• Participate in school camps, regional and national conferences, and undertake additional reasonable tasks assigned by the School Head.
