About the role

Haldren is expanding its internal business development function and seeks a commercially‑minded Business Development Executive to grow its recruitment services footprint across the US and global markets. This fully remote position, based in South Africa, focuses on building lasting client relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering long‑term value for both clients and candidates.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and engage prospective clients in the US and international markets through structured outreach.
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand hiring challenges and business objectives.
  • Develop tailored proposals and positioning that align Haldren’s services with client goals.
  • Manage client relationships throughout the full engagement lifecycle.
  • Map target accounts and create multi‑touch, multi‑stakeholder engagement strategies.
  • Convert inbound leads and referrals into new client relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal delivery teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client intelligence in target sectors.
  • Contribute to service improvement initiatives and BD strategy planning.

Required profile

  • Proven experience in business development or client relationship management within professional services, recruitment solutions, or similar B2B environments.
  • Demonstrated success engaging US‑based or international clients.
  • Strong ability to run structured discovery, qualify opportunities, and craft compelling proposals.
  • Confident communicator across email, video, and phone, including with C‑level stakeholders.
  • Self‑directed, disciplined, and effective in a fully remote setting.
  • Professional‑level written English.

Required skills

  • CRM usage with strong pipeline hygiene.
