Acquisition Management Officer – Quotations

About the role

The Acquisition Management Officer – Quotations will support the Road Accident Fund by managing the procurement of goods, services and works in line with established thresholds. Reporting to the Senior Officer, you will ensure efficient, compliant and customer‑focused supply chain operations.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, verify and compile RFQ documents, issue them to suppliers and manage supplier responses.
• Evaluate bids, conduct bid adjudication committee submissions and issue purchase orders or handover documents.
• Support price negotiations, ensure compliance with specifications and arrange evaluation meetings for complex quotations.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports and contribute to functional reporting systems.
• Handle inquiries from internal and external stakeholders, provide timely solutions and maintain written feedback throughout transactions.
• Archive purchase requisition documents on shared folders and systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Finance or related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in acquisition management, specifically handling quotations.
• Strong planning, organising, judgement and decision‑making abilities.
• Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act, Treasury Regulations and related public sector procurement rules.
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision and maintain high ethical standards.
