Food & Beverage Manager

About the role

The Food & Beverage Manager leads all hotel F&B operations, covering restaurants, bars, banqueting, conferencing and room service. You will ensure exceptional guest experiences while driving operational efficiency and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of all food and beverage outlets.
• Manage budgets, stock control and labour costs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene and liquor‑licensing regulations.
• Develop and coach F&B teams to deliver consistent, high‑quality service.
• Maintain high standards of guest satisfaction across all venues.

Required profile

• Matric and a hotel management diploma or equivalent.
• 5‑8 years of F&B operations experience in a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Previous management of multiple outlets (restaurants, bars, banqueting, conferencing or room service).
• Strong knowledge of relevant health, safety, hygiene, labour and liquor‑licensing legislation.
• Calm, problem‑solving attitude under pressure.
• Excellent communication, active listening and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to staff training and development.
• Professional appearance and trustworthy demeanor.
