FMCG Key Account Manager

About the role

Character Group is seeking a highly driven FMCG Key Account Manager to accelerate growth across pharmacy and supermarket channels. This fast‑paced position is ideal for a retail professional who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and understands the importance of flawless retail execution.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and expand relationships with pharmacy and supermarket accounts.
• Drive retailer listings, replenishment, and sell‑through management.
• Develop accurate forecasts and oversee distribution centre (DC) flow.
• Utilise retailer systems to ensure operational follow‑through and compliance.
• Collaborate with major retailers such as Clicks, Dis‑Chem, Shoprite, Pick n Pay, and Spar.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience managing pharmacy and/or supermarket retail accounts.
• Commercially minded with strong attention to detail.
• Highly operational and execution focused.
• Experience with the listed retailers is advantageous.
