About the role

homechoice is a leading South African homeware retailer. This role involves telephonically obtaining reasonable repayment outcomes from customers with outstanding debt, generating cash flow, minimizing bad debts and rehabilitating distressed borrowers.

Key responsibilities

Meet department objectives by achieving performance metrics (targets) and collecting as per department standards.
Maintain operational and quality efficiencies.
Rehabilitate and educate customers regarding their payment profile.
Provide an exceptional customer experience.
Negotiate payments from customers following the call script within dialer time.
Act as a professional ambassador, ensuring polite and efficient service internally and externally.

Required profile

Ability to meet performance targets and collection standards.
Commitment to operational and quality efficiency.
Strong communication skills to educate and rehabilitate customers.
Focus on delivering exceptional customer experience.
Negotiation skills following scripted guidelines.
