About the role
Role is to lead and direct the telesales team to achieve high sales and maintain strong client patronage, while ensuring excellent call quality and sales delivery. The team leader oversees telephone‑based sales transactions and supports field sales, managing administrative duties and rotating shifts across a Monday‑Sunday work week.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver success against KPI targets and plans through effective people management.
- Create a positive learning environment that empowers Lead Associates, Senior Associates and Associates.
- Act as a role model to help the contact centre meet its overall objectives and provide first‑class customer service.
- Facilitate direct sales by managing team members and encouraging them to achieve sales goals.
- Coach team members, transferring expert knowledge to boost their skills and performance.
Required profile
- Minimum 12 months sales team leader experience (essential).
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience (essential).
- Matric or equivalent qualification.
