Business Development Manager – South Africa

About the role

Group-IB is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead its META Sales Team in South Africa. You will drive strategic growth, generate high‑value opportunities and promote advanced cybersecurity solutions to government, enterprise and critical‑infrastructure customers across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead sales growth across South African Development Community (SADC) countries, targeting enterprise and strategic accounts.
• Develop and nurture relationships with C‑level and senior stakeholders in financial services, telecom, retail, government and enterprise sectors.
• Identify opportunities by assessing customers’ cybersecurity maturity, regulatory requirements and business priorities.
• Build and expand a channel and alliance ecosystem, collaborating with system integrators and technology partners.
• Execute proactive outreach, networking and partner‑driven initiatives to generate and qualify pipeline opportunities.
• Work cross‑functionally with sales engineering, marketing and partner teams to ensure cohesive go‑to‑market execution.
• Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline visibility and CRM reporting aligned with regional objectives.
• Position Group‑IB as a leading cybersecurity authority through thought leadership and consultative engagement.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of B2B sales experience in cybersecurity, technology or related enterprise solutions.
• Proven success selling to enterprise or strategic accounts in the South African market.
• Strong understanding of local market conditions, compliance frameworks and enterprise buying processes.
• Experience working with channel partners, system integrators and alliance‑driven sales models.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior decision‑makers.
