About the role
The Workshop Admin Clerk provides essential administrative support to keep the workshop running smoothly. You will act as the primary point of contact for customers, manage job cards from initiation through invoicing, and ensure accurate record‑keeping.
Key responsibilities
- Process workshop job cards from opening to invoicing, updating the register daily.
- Handle inbound customer calls and queries regarding invoices, statements, and warranty claims.
- Communicate effectively with customers, the Workshop Manager, and the Working Foreman to relay information and feedback.
- Prepare online warranty claims when required.
- Maintain clear and timely communication with team members and colleagues.
Required profile
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Customer‑focused attitude with a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced workshop environment.
Required skills
- Proficiency with workshop management or similar administrative software.
- Basic computer literacy, including word processing and spreadsheet tools.
