Techxpert – Technician (Maintenance Systems)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Technician with strong knowledge of maintenance systems and technical processes. The successful candidate will help improve productivity and increase the efficiency of our technical systems across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot IT hardware components, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Perform software installations and updates on company devices.
• Support networking infrastructure where required.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to optimise technical workflows.
• Apply company policies, procedures and best practices in daily operations.

Required profile

• Matric certificate.
• COMPTIA A+ certification (Essentials and Core).
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage stress, resolve conflicts and work towards targets.
• Self‑management, integrity, attention to detail and customer‑centric attitude.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of IT hardware components and repair.
• Experience with software installations.
• Understanding of networking systems (advantageous).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
