Social Media and Community Manager

About the role

Africrest Properties is looking for a creative, digitally‑savvy Social Media and Community Manager to lead and grow its online presence across a portfolio of residential properties. The role focuses on storytelling, community engagement and digital innovation to position Africrest as the premium lifestyle brand for young professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a social media strategy across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok and emerging platforms.
• Own the full content creation cycle – concept, copywriting, photography, videography, editing and publishing.
• Maintain a proactive content calendar aligned with campaigns, seasonal promotions and resident events.
• Manage community engagement by responding to comments, messages and enquiries within agreed service levels.
• Coordinate paid TikTok campaigns with the Marketing Manager and external agency.
• Produce monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations.
• Analyse campaign data, audience engagement and digital trends to optimise future content.
• Capture high‑quality photo and video assets at estates, lifestyle shoots and resident events.
• Manage relationships with influencers and content creators, from sourcing to performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with internal teams and agencies to deliver integrated marketing campaigns.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in social media management, content creation or digital marketing.
• Proven track record managing social media accounts for brands.
