About the role
The Site Clerk is responsible for running the administration office on a specific site, ensuring that all administrative, HR, and stock‑management activities are carried out efficiently, safely and in line with company policies.
Key responsibilities
- Provide end‑to‑end HR policy and procedure support for the division.
- Process purchase requisitions, verify contracts and approve orders.
- Receive and verify goods and services against delivery notes and outstanding orders.
- Manage site stock (diesel, PPE, stores) and maintain accurate records.
- Back up the site database and ensure proper housekeeping of the office.
- Liaise between the Site Administrator, Contract Manager, wage office and HR department.
- Compile monthly HR reports and maintain personnel files for wage employees.
- Administer leave, wage time‑books, and handle wage queries.
- Coordinate sign‑on and sign‑off procedures for new and departing wage employees.
- Promote a positive image of the site office and maintain client relationships.
Required profile
- Experience in site administration or office management.
- Familiarity with HR administration, payroll processing and personnel record keeping.
- Ability to manage stock inventories and verify deliveries.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills for liaising with multiple internal stakeholders.
