About the role

Join a high‑growth fintech innovator as a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer. You will own the end‑to‑end development of critical payment, data API, and onboarding services that power millions of transactions. This 12‑month contract offers the chance to shape scalable, ultra‑reliable systems in a fast‑moving, cross‑functional engineering hub.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement next‑gen payment platforms that are fast, secure, and highly scalable.
• Build modern financial data APIs for trusted third‑party partners.
• Develop backend engines that automate compliant merchant onboarding.
• Collaborate with product, design, and operations teams to deliver features from concept to production.
• Maintain and evolve cloud‑native infrastructure on AWS.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on full‑stack development experience.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology (minimum Grade 12).
