Desktop Support Agent – Digital Signage

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Desktop Support Agent to monitor and maintain a national network of digital signage screens, media players, and self‑service kiosks. This L1/L2 network operations position focuses on early fault detection and resolution before clients notice any issues.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously monitor device health, connectivity and uptime via cloud‑based CMS and dashboards.
• Identify and resolve anomalies, offline devices, or performance degradations promptly.
• Provide remote support through WhatsApp, email and ticketing platforms, adhering to defined SLA response and resolution times.
• Log all incidents accurately in Freshdesk or equivalent, maintaining detailed site‑level history.
• Occasionally attend client sites for hardware faults, device setup, media player configuration and replacement logistics.
• Administer Android and Linux environments, configuring media players and associated devices.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in IT support, desktop support or network operations.
• Previous remote troubleshooting or monitoring experience.
• Hands‑on experience with structured ticketing platforms such as Freshdesk or Zendesk.
• Strong knowledge of Android and Linux operating systems.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including IP addressing and router/switch diagnostics.
