Senior Engineer – Energy Management & EMS Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Engineer to lead the design, implementation and support of advanced energy management, AMR and EMS solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Compile functional design specifications and review design documentation.
• Design and commission EMS and AMR systems, including FAT and SAT testing.
• Develop energy and power meter framework designs and configure hardware such as servers, switches, gateways and power meters.
• Provide technical assistance to business development, train junior engineers and support field technicians.
• Ensure system integration, quality assurance and compliance with customer specifications.
• Handle client queries and manage interactions with subcontractors and suppliers.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years experience in energy management, AMR and EMS.
• 5 years experience with Schneider Electric PME and ION architecture.
• 5 years experience with billing/revenue energy meters (Landis & Gyr, Elster, Enermax).
• 3 years experience in power quality audit and mitigation equipment.
• Electrical/Electronic Engineering degree (or equivalent).
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
