Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting & Leadership

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to manage and maintain accurate financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support strategic financial planning through timely reporting and analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Manage general ledger entries, account reconciliations and journal postings.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation.
• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts and financial plans.
• Implement and maintain internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate with cross‑functional teams on financial strategy.
• Review and approve payment runs, expense reports and financial transactions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 5–7 years of accounting experience, including financial reporting, budgeting and audit coordination.
• Proven supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
• Excellent understanding of company policies and operational procedures.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and financial modelling.
• ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or NetSuite.
• Tax, audit and compliance knowledge.
• Financial analysis and reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
