Sales Development Representative (SDR) – Remote (South Africa)

About the role
ParcelHero is seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative to join its remote‑first sales team. You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by contacting prospects in the UK market and qualifying leads for the Business Development Executives.
Key responsibilities
- Make approximately 200 cold outbound calls per day to target industries.
- Generate leads through outbound emails, social media outreach and phone calls.
- Qualify prospects by assessing needs, decision‑making authority and buying potential.
- Nurture relationships with prospects and follow up to keep them engaged.
- Maintain accurate interaction records in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to align messaging and target strategies.
- Conduct market research to identify new verticals and outreach opportunities.
- Meet or exceed daily, weekly and monthly targets for calls, qualified leads and appointments.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years experience in sales development, lead generation or telemarketing.
- Proven ability to handle high call volumes and achieve targets.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, ownership‑driven attitude.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, remote environment.
