Senior Regional Sales Manager – Surgical Robotics (English‑Speaking Africa)

About the role

We are expanding our surgical robotics business across English‑speaking Africa and need a senior sales leader to drive growth. You will work closely with distributors, hospitals and clinicians to increase adoption of our advanced robotic surgical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead regional business expansion and achieve sales targets in assigned territories.
• Partner with distributors to identify and develop end‑customer opportunities.
• Conduct joint visits with distributors to hospitals, surgeons and key stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with procurement teams, clinicians and hospital decision‑makers.
• Manage the full capital‑equipment sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
• Support tender processes, major commercial projects and provide market intelligence.
• Engage Key Opinion Leaders and support clinical evaluation and product adoption activities.
• Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline and CRM records.
• Represent the company at congresses, exhibitions and industry events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Medicine, Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Business or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in medical device sales or healthcare commercial roles.
• Proven experience with surgical robotics, capital equipment or high‑value medical devices is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work with distributors, hospitals and clinicians.
• Clinical exposure or experience is a strong advantage.
