Revenue Controller

About the role

The Revenue Controller will own end‑to‑end revenue management, ensuring data accuracy, timely invoicing and insightful reporting that supports strategic decisions. Working closely with Commercial and Operations teams, the role sits at the core of the business’s revenue performance.

Key responsibilities

• Process invoicing, credit notes and journal entries in line with company policy.
• Lead the monthly revenue close, guaranteeing accuracy across all streams.
• Prepare and present detailed revenue reports and variance analyses for senior stakeholders.
• Maintain and enhance revenue recognition policies in accordance with IFRS 15 and applicable standards.
• Collaborate with Commercial and Receivables teams to verify deal structures, billing arrangements and resolve client queries.
• Identify and investigate revenue leakage, billing discrepancies and control weaknesses.
• Support development and maintenance of revenue models and dashboards.
• Assist internal and external audit processes and respond to revenue‑related inquiries.
• Drive continuous improvement of revenue controls, processes and systems.
• Lead automation initiatives such as automated invoicing, reconciliation and reporting pipelines.
• Uphold data integrity across ERP, billing and reporting platforms through validation controls and reconciliation checks.

Required profile

• Approximately 5 years of experience in revenue accounting, controlling or related finance roles.
• Experience in telecom, technology or subscription‑based environments is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with ERP/billing systems, specifically Sage 300.
• Knowledge of IFRS 15 revenue recognition standards.
• Familiarity with workflow automation tools and process automation concepts.
