Restaurant Manager – Upmarket New Venue in The Glen

About the role

We are launching a modern, up‑market restaurant and bar in The Glen, Johannesburg, and need three experienced managers to lead the operation. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a new venue from day one and drive its success.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house activities.
• Manage cash‑up reconciliation and daily financial reporting.
• Control stock levels, ordering, and inventory management.
• Execute opening and closing procedures consistently.
• Lead, train, and motivate staff to deliver high‑quality service.
• Maintain strong customer relations and handle guest issues promptly.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of restaurant management experience.
• Fluent, well‑spoken English.
• Excellent references and a solid employment history.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Energetic, passionate, and driven attitude.
