Reservations Supervisor

About the role

The Reservations Supervisor supports the efficient operation of the Reservations department, ensuring that guest booking requests are handled promptly and that revenue targets are met. This role combines operational oversight with a strong focus on guest satisfaction and team motivation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in daily operations of the Reservations department to achieve hotel business goals.
• Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures and ensure bookings are processed within 24 hours.
• Drive upselling initiatives and meet monthly revenue targets.
• Monitor rates, packages, group bookings and maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the selling strategy.
• Generate and follow up on daily trace reports, reconfirm arrivals 1, 3 and 7 days in advance, and manage cancellations, no‑shows and pre‑payment policies.
• Maintain accurate administrative procedures to prevent double‑bookings and filing errors.
• Provide timely responses to guest inquiries and ensure all guest requests are fulfilled.
• Collaborate with Sales, Front Desk, Accounting and local tour operators to streamline reservation processes.
• Promote sister properties and stay informed about local events and seasonality.
• Participate in hotel events, shift briefings and training sessions.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of hotel reservation processes and policies.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high service standards.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team‑oriented attitude.
• Knowledge of local tourism trends, seasonality and events.
