Professional Landscape Architect

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Landscape Architect to lead the design and implementation of public parks, recreational facilities, urban spaces, river corridors, and other municipal projects. The successful candidate will translate conceptual ideas into detailed, buildable designs while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop landscape concepts and design solutions that meet client and stakeholder objectives.
• Produce detailed landscape designs, construction drawings, and specifications.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, and other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Conduct design reviews and provide support during project implementation.
• Prepare and deliver client presentations and engage with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Degree/BTech/Honours in Landscape Architecture.
• Valid SACLAP professional registration.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience working on public parks, recreational facilities, urban spaces, river corridors, or municipal projects.
• Strong report writing and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D.
• Proficiency with SketchUp.
• Proficiency with Lumion.
• Proficiency with Revit or comparable design tools.
