Procurement Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to lead our sourcing and purchasing activities. The role will focus on securing raw materials, packaging, and consumables while driving cost‑reduction initiatives and supporting new product development.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Source and procure raw materials, packaging, consumables, and production‑related items.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and supply agreements.
• Manage supplier relationships and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Identify and evaluate alternative materials, suppliers, and sourcing opportunities.
• Coordinate material testing, qualification, and approval processes.
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast material requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance, conduct audits, and resolve quality or supply issues.
• Drive procurement savings and cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Monitor market trends and benchmark supplier pricing.
• Prepare procurement reports and performance analyses.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Maintain supplier documentation and procurement records.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Finance, Logistics, and Sales teams.
• Support new product development and material sourcing projects.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business Management, Commerce, or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or purchasing.
• At least 3 years in a management or supervisory role.
• Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, retail, logistics, or a related industry.
• Proven track record in cost reduction, supplier development, and procurement strategy implementation.
• Professional membership with relevant procurement bodies (advantageous).
