Procurement Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a Procurement Coordinator to manage supplier deliveries and ensure smooth order execution for OneDayOnly, South Africa’s leading daily‑deals platform. You will be the key point of contact between suppliers and internal teams, driving on‑time‑in‑full performance and resolving any discrepancies that arise.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, monitor and enforce supplier delivery SLAs with a focus on OTIF performance.
• Identify supply‑chain risks proactively and implement mitigation plans.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve operational bottlenecks.
• Investigate and resolve delivery, pricing, quantity and other supplier‑related issues.
• Manage supplier escalations and ensure timely resolution.
• Own high‑risk or urgent orders, communicating status and prioritising based on business impact.
• Track and report supplier performance metrics and conduct regular performance reviews.
• Collaborate with Sales, Warehouse, Customer Service and Finance to address procurement challenges.
• Prepare reports on SLA adherence, risks and improvement initiatives.
• Identify and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Grade 12 certificate; a diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field is advantageous.
• 3–5 years’ experience in procurement, supplier coordination, vendor management or supply‑chain operations.
• Strong understanding of procurement best practices and supply‑chain processes.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (spreadsheets) for tracking and reporting.
