About the role

The Petshop Manager will lead the daily operations of our pet store, ensuring that every aspect of the business aligns with the Checkers Pet Science brand standards. This role combines operational oversight, administrative duties, and staff leadership to drive store performance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all operational, administrative and managerial tasks within the store.
• Maintain the Checkers Pet Science brand image in every customer interaction and visual presentation.
• Manage inventory levels, stock replenishment and product placement to meet demand.
• Supervise, schedule and develop store staff to ensure high service quality.
• Implement and monitor security measures in line with company standards.
• Analyze sales data and implement strategies to maximise profitability.

• Proven experience in retail or store management.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
• Strong organisational skills to handle multiple operational tasks.
