About the role
The hotel’s pastry kitchen is looking for a motivated Commis Pastry to support the culinary team in creating high‑quality desserts, pastries and baked goods for guests. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in a dynamic, upscale hotel environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and production of pastries, cakes, breads and desserts following hotel recipes.
- Maintain strict cleanliness and hygiene standards in the pastry kitchen.
- Ensure attractive and consistent presentation of all finished products.
- Support inventory control, cost monitoring and timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Collaborate with the pastry team to respond quickly to guest enquiries and resolve issues.
Required profile
- Previous kitchen experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for pastry arts.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.
