About the role
Meijer is seeking an Overnight Manager to lead a team of associates during night shifts. You will be responsible for driving engagement, coaching, and performance while ensuring operational excellence and a safe store environment.
Key responsibilities
- Engage team members in onboarding, training, development, and coaching.
- Identify talent, support career discussions, and maintain a diversified talent pipeline.
- Oversee area operations, financial results, shrink, productivity, safety, scheduling, and staffing forecasts.
- Implement process improvements and uphold Meijer culture.
- Resolve team member and customer conflicts and ensure compliance with safety and store policies.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 4 years of retail/grocery or customer‑service experience.
- Progressive leadership experience preferred.
- Strong communication, analytical, and safety‑focused mindset.
