Operations Specialist – SCA Surveillance & Analysis

About the role

The Operations Specialist for SCA Surveillance & Analysis is responsible for advanced technical analysis and timely resolution of network and service incidents. The role supports a wide range of technologies, from transmission and non‑voice services to satellite and broadband equipment, ensuring high availability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and implement database changes, test solutions and compile feedback reports.
• Monitor network and associated systems, initiate corrective actions, and coordinate activities across groups and business units.
• Execute ad‑hoc projects: identify needs, research solutions, develop execution plans and produce work instructions.
• Handle service requests: receive, evaluate, log, investigate, and provide progress reports while training and coaching colleagues.
• Maintain Grade of Service by observing norms, analysing deviations, and recommending corrective actions.

Required profile

• Strong technical background in network and service incident management.
• Experience with fault‑finding procedures and network layout analysis.
• Ability to generate statistics, reports and contingency plans.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills across multiple stakeholders.
