Senior DevSecOps Engineer

About the role

Senior DevSecOps Engineer will drive integration between development and operations at MTN, enabling delivery of high‑quality, reliable, and scalable telecom services through automation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The role focuses on automating software development, infrastructure provisioning, configuration management and deployment while ensuring security and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
• Collaborate with development squads to embed security and compliance into the delivery lifecycle.
• Manage infrastructure provisioning on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and on‑premise telecom environments.
• Monitor system performance, handle incident response and drive continuous reliability improvements.
• Optimize applications for performance in both standalone and distributed systems.
• Lead technical architecture discussions and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics or related field; postgraduate degree preferred.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience, including 4‑5 years in technical architecture, application development or operations.
• Proven experience with telecom systems, protocols and industry standards.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities to maintain system stability.
