About the role
Voltalia is seeking an O&M Administrative Assistant to support its operations and maintenance sites in South Africa. Reporting to the O&M Site Manager, you will handle purchasing, invoicing, supplier payments and provide administrative support to the Human Capital department while ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the full purchase process, including budgets, comparative analyses and purchase orders.
- Handle customer invoicing and supplier payment processing.
- Maintain entry and exit registers for site access.
- Support HR activities such as vacation tracking and preventive measures.
- Utilise management tools and calibrations for operational efficiency.
- Perform physical site work when required, complying with medical fitness requirements.
Required profile
- Electrotechnical Engineering degree (preferred).
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar administrative function.
- Familiarity with IFS and standard administrative practices.
- Strong orientation to health, safety and environmental (HSE) topics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
