Multimedia Designer

About the role

Machine, a creative agency within Publicis Groupe, is looking for a mid‑level Multimedia Designer to join its Cape Town studio. You will work on integrated concepts across social and digital platforms, turning ideas into visually compelling experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design social‑media and digital creative, including animation, following best practices and brand guidelines.
• Prepare files in correct formats, sizes and dimensions for various platforms.
• Interpret briefs, flag potential issues early, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Create presentation decks and archive artwork for hand‑overs.
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions and lead the craft and design of your ideas.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of relevant design experience.
• Strong time‑management and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Awareness of emerging technologies and South African popular culture.
